Botox anyone?

Has anyone read the interview with Fiona Phillips in the Feb magazine? In particular: "There's no way I'll resort to using Botox or having cosmetic surgery. You can always tell when you meet someone who has had something done [how, exactly???] and my opinion of them goes down slightly. I think they're vain and superficial."

I find this offensive. I am only 51 and have had a couple of Botox treatments to try to lessen deep lines under my eyes, which obviously Ms Phillips does not have. Why is it vain to want to look one's best? If Ms Phillips doesn't feel the need for such treatments that's fine, but to label everyone who has cosmetic surgery as vain and superficial is astonishingly arrogant. Or is it just me who thinks so?
