I'm planning to stop dying my hair which I've been doing for nearly 30 years. As I have very thick and fast growing hair it's cost me a fortune over the years.

It's now completely silver and my hairdresser has assured me it will look great. Had to visit a number of salons before anyone agreed to cut it without dying it out. Finally invested in an excellent cut with a stylist who told me that it would not look it's best for a few weeks until all the blonde has gone but that we could work together to sort it out.

All I need now is to hope that I'll start looking like Helen Mirren (we are the same age after all)!! Only in my dreams I fear.
