I've got really weak nails, for lots of boring reasons.

There are various types of false nail
- stick on. But they fall off
- acrylic. mixed reports about these. You can do them yourself, but they are tricky. and you can end up with a lumpy or pitted surface.

-gel nails - you paint it on, then cure it with a spray activator, or with UV light. Easier to use apparently as it self levels. And you can put nail varnish on and "cure" it, so it doesn't chip.

It's really made a difference to my nails. You don't have to long false nail tips, but it does allow me to grow my nails to a normal length
