I tried a new salon earlier this week and was charged £30.50 for a cut 'n' blow dry. It was ok, nothing special, but I tipped the stylist £5 "just in case" I do go back there. Her eyes and smile really widened, giving me the impression that she thought £5 was a very big tip! I just did it out of habit, but I'm going to think twice in future.
