I read an article last year that suggested a good stylist (i.e. a posh stylist) would be offended if he/she was tipped and to just tip the junior who washed hair, made the coffee etc.

However, I have gone to the same small salon for years and always tip the girl who cuts my hair and the junior. I don't give them much though, just £1 each - I may have a rethink.

My hair cut only costs £15 though so I suppose it's ok (I colour it myself at home).

Have some of you ladies won the lottery?? £50+ for a haircut???
