I always give the hairdresser about 10% and usually £1 or £2 for the girl who has washed my hair, made coffee etc.
However I never tip my beautician (I only go for regular leg/bikini wax, and occasional facial) I think it is because she is the salon owner and I feel awkward about it. But if I ever have her staff instead of her I give them a tip.
I hate the whole tipping thing!!
