I have very curly hair and I have it just below my shoulders with long layers.I have found over the years that I just do not suit it short.I had a short cut ( chin length ) a few years ago and looked like crusty the clown from the simpsons!!(ie it stuck out!)
I buy Kerastase products for curly / frizzy hair.I have also found that leaving a bit of conditioner in accentutes the curl!
