When you go to the forum ask them to show you or use straigteners on you. It's the best thing I have ever bought.
You don't have to achieve a poker straight style, but can just smooth it out a bit therefore making it a bit more manageable. Even I can make my hair behave, it look more professional when I blow dry it. Your hair does alter as you grow older, and mine's so thin but the straigteners make it look thicker.

I've bought GDH straighteners which are nearly Ł95 or something. GDH stands for Good Hair Day. Very expensive but I'd buy them again immediately if mine broke as they're worth it. You can buy cheaper ones but make sure they're ceramic (Boots have got loads).

ps sorry just re-read your post and it says you want to accentuate the curlyness (sorry can't help on that) but have still posted this to give you ideas. But welcome anyway.
