Now in my mid-fifties,I was discussing hairstyles with my hairdresser,who made the suggestion that at my age "Bobs" with a side parting create a softer look. So we tried it on the left,and there was a 'cows lick' so we tried it on the right and low and behold,there was another one.

My style is still a 'Bob'but the side parting only comes to just before my hairline,where I now have a full but feathered fringe to reduce the heaviness.

What I don't understand is how at my age,I nor anyone else has noticed the cow's licks before.!!!!
