I have just got a new job and will need to look smart and professional for work. I am having difficulty finding decent, reasonably priced 'office' clothes that are

a) not frumpy
b) not tarty

I'm 48 and like to think that I am reasonably trendy, but also don't want to fall into the 'mutton' trap.

I used to like Next, and their clothes fit me well, but I think the quality has gone off recently and I'm not keen on the fabrics used nowadays.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
