I went into my local shoe shop and tried on loads! I found one pair of Gabour Comfort Shoes which fit - but they were 'proper' shoes and may have been uncomfortable when it was really hot. However I did get some sandals which are branded 'Saimon'. They have a wedge, padded insole, strap round the back and are in bronze and gold and look very pretty with both black, navy and brown. Really pleased as they are very cosy.

I may go back for some of the Gabour for the Autumn/Winter.

I found some of the hotter not wide enough, and to be honest so many of them are really old fashioned.
