My daughter is a hairdresser, and she dreads it when someone comes in with a picture and says they want it just like that. In many cases, she has to explain (tactfully) that it won't work because their hair is too thin/thick/curly, or their hairline is wrong, or their face shape is wrong, or a million other things. Even worse, that it might look like a simple style and it's actually high maintenance requiring blow drying, and starightening, and wax.. And she knows that person will never make that effort. Fortunately she a tactful girl, and usually persuades the person too compromise on something that suits them better. Unless it's me, and she just tells me not to be so ridiculous. Then cuts my hair the way she thinks is best for at that time. And she's usually right. My mid brown hair is currently sporting lowlights in gold, red and dark brown. ..wispa |
