I thought the fashion was supposed, at long last, to be changing to waisted jeans. Those low lying things really don't flatter anyone and for "ladies of a certain age" make jean buying impossible. I've bought from Tesco in the past and they were pretty good. Sainsburys do a nice shape but are too low. There are often articles in magazines about the best jeans for a particular shape but I'm not too convinced as they concentrate more on the leg shape than the waist. I'm apple shaped and I read somewhere that apples shouldn't wear jeans. Trouble is, I live in them! My last ones were bought at New Look for £10 and look good. Have a white pair hanging in the wardrobe for if we ever get summer
