After months of waiting I’ve just received my letter of invite for a hysterectomy (suction type) in the New Year and I’ve just realised how ill prepared I am!

Any advice would be appreciated on what I can expect after the op recovery wise.

Driving?
Exercise (I swim a lot)?
Returning to work (booo)?
How long I can expect to be waited on hand and foot? lol

I am so looking forward to booking a holiday in 2009 without counting out the weeks on the calendar first!
