OOOOOOOOH Splash here we go again! another coincidence!?? I started having chronic migraine when I was nine I would have one at least three times a week until I was 14 I had course of injections and from the time I was 15 I probably only had two or three a year, by the time I was 20 I maybe had one a year, occasionally I get a series of them lasting over a week, the Doctor felt it was the same migraine not going away, she prescribed Sumatriptan, they are brilliant, as long as I take one as soon as my eyes go, the symptoms are hugely diluted, I'm neurotic about carrying them everywhere, they are £25 per pill but worth every penny. Oh I wish I'd had that as a 9 year old, the symptoms then were just as bad as the ones I now which fortunately are rare. My symptoms are exactly the same as yours Plasmo, I also get numb fingers one by one, bizarre, and I am unable to string a sentence together. As to whether you grow out of them Plasmo, my Mum and Dad were both sufferers, My Dad always had them and my Mum only got the eye interferance as she got older. I too get annoyed if someone with a bad head calls it a migraine, I wish I was a headache sufferer! All I can say I totally sympathise it is the most distressing awful complaint. |
