Hello ladies, Ive been very brave all day but falling apart a bit right now. Tomorrow I have to go into the Spine Centre here for a 'denervation'. I had one once before, so I know what to expect, but that doesn't seem to help! I should be used to this kind of thing, but instead of getting easier, it seems to get harder. They inject into a nerve in your spine and then pass a probe down the needle and laserburn/kill off the nerve. Aparantely in UK, USA etc., they sedate you, but here in Germany, they just expect you to climb up onto the bed, have the procedure, then climb off and go home.. I'm trying to avoid yet another big operation, and this is def worth another try. It's only very painful briefly... then I go home to rest for a couple of days, when it's not very good, but I can manage. Then-hopefully- slowly the pain levels start to decrease. Please please keep your fingers crossed for me...... I'm feeling such a scaredy cat
