Thank you everybody for all the kind thoughts and good advice. I have: *drunk loads of orange juice, *taken Vitamin C and echinacea *tried the hot hair dryer treatment - it felt very wierd - but decided the wet socks were a step too far! *had hot baths with lavender, tea tree, benzoin resin and white thyme essential oils *drunk hot lemon and honey, both with and without whisky *stayed in the warm and cancelled all outings *had spinach and watercress salad for lunch *been really touched by everyone's kindness and positive thoughts and I do feel a lot better, but will take your advice too sue11 and continue to stay in the warm and rest up tomorrow. thank you so much everyone - fingers crossed I will be OK on Monday! |
