I was thrown off a horse last Friday and fractured my pelvis(it was my first riding lesson in 25 years!!).At the moment I am on bedrest and its v painful to move- has anyone else done this? Not that I'd wish it on my worst enemy

and could anyone give me an idea of how long it'll be before I'm up and about- the hospital were really vague or was it the amount of drugs they'd given to me to numb the pain?!
