Hello everyone! SL - I always get constipated on holiday too (sorry, mjm!)- it doesn't matter where we go. It usually gets better after a few days, so I think it is perhaps stress related. As Loo says, drinking lots of water helps eventually! Sella_vee - I eat a lot more yoghurt now, usually for breakfast with a banana. I don't know how effective the probiotic ones are, I do like the Activia prune one though. Chickadee - I hope you feel better soon. Mind you I think you've given it to me, because I had a sore throat yesterday and going throught tissues like mad today (keeps Boots in business though). I don't have that much appetite today, although we have had sunday lunch - earlier than usual as we normally eat in the evening. We had my parents plus my cousin and her husband over for the meal and Mum has to be back home by 6 as she plays the organ for the evening service at her church. Only small portions for me, so I'm feeling quite virtuous. Although I did have apple strudel!!! mjm - I said goodbye to my brother on Friday - yes it was emotional, but he'll be back in 2 years, and if I come into money perhaps sooner! I'm on the way to being skinny, thanks to all your encouragement (and everyone else's of course) Linby - good for you, two walks. Today would have been perfect for a walk, but of course we had family over so didn't get out! Hope everyone has a good evening! Are we all ready for the weigh-in tomorrow? |
