i got quite a shock , on monday ,ive been on anti depressants for 18 months , now i know you just cant come off these tablets , but in jan i found my way again , and was feeling stronger ,,so i decided to start slowly cutting down my dosege and it was strange and hard every time i stopped a tablet 48 hrs i would go down hill and feel awfull , but i carried on the same plan every week untill i noticed that i wasnt actually wasnt missing the tablet , this has taken nearly a year , im down to 5 tablets in 7 , and cant seem to get any further ,i went to doctors on mon and he said that i shouldnt be comming off these this fast , and something that i hadnt considered ,is that i may never come off these , i have always said that by the time i go on holiday next year im going to be off them completely , doctor says no way ! once depression gets hold of you ,its with you for life , and poping a pill daily is just one of those things ,
that cant be right can it ?

has anyone else had simular things said to them, ?
has anyone actually come off thier tablets ?
