You have my sympathy as I to have an over active thyroid but carbimazole does seem to work for me. I am going for blood tests next week to check on this. Having taken the drugs I am not as tired though can happily snooze after lunch if the opportunity arises and have to be in bed by 10.30 but definately more awake than before diagnosis! Muscle pain has gone as well thank goodness. If you look back on previous pages there are some other posts on thyroid conditions which might help. Go to Health and Wellbeing then scroll to bottom of page where you will see numbers for previous pages, click on any page you want to look at.
