I'm certainly thinking about food more in a different way than before. Previously I'd be thinking "I mustn't have" and now it's "I really fancy that and will have some". Lunch this week's been salad and strawberries mixed with couscous (and a little dab of mayo) as it's quick to prepare and I've gone off bread at the moment. I'm certainly enjoying my food more and not picking. My OH is out tomorrow night and a few months ago that would have meant picking from the fridge and a meal but I'm past all that and am now thinking about what to cook just for me, it will probably be fish as my OH isn't too keen on it (although I could always get a small portion of fish and chips on the way home - I'd never manage a normal one now). I'm also trying not to waste food so am going for smaller portions rather than leaving some unless it's something OH or dogs can finish up (damn government - first they tell us we're too fat and then not to waste food!) LOL! |
