Sella_Vee, I agree, eating better quality food and less of it is the answer. I do buy good food, but am eating less of it these days. I try to put less on the plate when I dish up so that finishing what is there doesn't mean I have overeaten - I am always tempted to finish everything on the plate (as we were saying on another thread, we are of the generation that was encouraged not to waste and that included 'eating-up' until the plate was clear). I'd like to get to the stage that you described, Sella_Vee, when you felt quite ok about leaving a fair bit of main course on the plate because you knew you had had enough. Mind you, I am not nearly as creative as you are honeybunny - the food you take with you to work sounds really interesting and delicious. I love the sound of the stuffed lettuce leaves - mouthwatering! It must make life a lot more interesting to have all those little pots of tasty, fresh food to look forward to. Have a good day everyone. xx |
