Well, my goal was to lose some weight, realistically, I need to lose 3 stone to be at a healthy weight. That was much to big a mountain to climb so when I started with you guys I decided to just lose some weight (any weight would be good!!) So far I have lost 10 and a half lbs. I am sure I will have lost a stone by my next weigh in as I have done a bit of extra exercising to try and up the ante. If I do manage to get to the 1 stone loss then I am a third of the way there so I have re-set my goal to get to my healthy weight. Thanks to all the support, advice and motivation I have received then I know that I can do it. OK it wont be in a couple of weeks but hey, who cares?, I will get there eventually. Even if I dont get to the exact figure I wont count it as a failure as a bit of leeway either side would be quite acceptable to me. The plus side is, all you guys, spurring me on and sticking with the Flabulous Forumers, it has got me to wondering though, what are we going to call ourselves when we get to our desired weight and what are we going to do without these daily posts? |
