I also did 'race for life'- 5km in just over 30 mins. 3 years ago. Although I cant remember losing any weight, I can remember being less unhappy with my figure.
I have done no running since, until this week. Now I have made a weight and measurement record, and plan to jog for 30 mins, 4 times a week.( now it's down in black and white!!)
I run through the local fields, mostly on rough ground, because I enjoy the countryside.(I have got good trainers and sports bra)
I will try to keep it up and report back in 4 weeks!!
