Good for you honey, another fantastic bean is the ADUKI bean, its high in nutrients and low in calories, it burns fat and balances metabolism for weight management. A great tip Anne, I bought blueberries, strawberries, red grapes and apples yesterday, I just wish I had a local market where they would be grown locally and alot cheaper, its a pitty the fruit has to travel half way around the world before we see it. Alex, Ive just bought 2 boxes of sprouted mixed beans from my local health food store, I too love them in salads and just to nibble at, yummy! I think if you buy the dry beans in packets you have to soak some of them, but it will tell you on the label. I am too lazy and unorganized enough to plan, I get the tins, rinse the contents out in fresh water, and then heat up, much easier a lazy person!! I dont want to turn this into a DIET because its not, its just giving your mind and body what it needs to function in our busy, busy lives, without the energy slumps we often get if we run on empty. You still have to stick to the golden rules!! |
