I took glucosamine for ages with no effect. Then I read (on this forum) that I needed to take 1500mg a day. I've been doing that for 3 months, and it is starting to kick in. After a game of golf, my knees only ache, whereas before I would have been in agony. I also use voltarol gel, which helps. You say you do a lot of computer work/sewing, etc. Are you sure it's not muscle ache/spasms? I would go to the doctor and try and get some physio and exercises ..wispa |
