Re: Arthritis

My OH has had bad arthritic pains in right foot for many years, which are worse in the winter with the damp cold weather, but has started taking Seatone supplement which contains green-lipped mussel extract, and swears that it's improved amazingly. A previous X-ray revealed, in the words of his GP, that he had the toe joint of a 70 yr old, and he's not one to be hoodwinked by hype or marketing.

Similarly, I've been taking a collection of cod liver, rose hip extract, glucosamine and evening primrose, and the intermittent pains I was getting in my right hip have completely disappeared, and the joint pains in various fingers have also lessened, though not disappeared completely.

It is also suggested that chondroitin can help, but this, together with the Seatone would have to be avoided by those who are known to experience seafood allergies.
