OK...no bouncing. Back to the drawing board. Actually, curiously, the exercise bike is quite good, because it's not weight bearing and it helps build up the quadriceps (think that's the ones). It was recommended in my "How to look after your knees when it's too late" (not it's real title, but that's the message!) book. Sadly, no Pilates available locally at manageable times - a drawback of rural living.

I did fancy the idea of the space hopper though! (If only for the thought of my d.'s face!)
