Thanks MJM. It's grey and damp here (but with a promise 0f better weather for us tomorrow) Your posts are really helpful and insightful. I'm just back from my walk - I did my two miles again, much more confidently and in a slightly shorter time. I really appreciated all the supportive comments the other day! I've also stopped parking the car as near as possible to the places I'm going to - the last couple of days I've parked at the far ends of carparks so I can walk the extra distance - something I used to do when I was younger, but have long since given up. I really notice the difference in my energy levels. My clothes don't feel any different and no-one has remarked on anything, so I'm not sure there's much loss to report, but I do feel physically tons better. Your points about hunger are very interesting - I am beginning to enjoy feeling a slight sense of hunger; actually being hungry makes the food taste better!
