You're quite right dbverycherry that good habits and an active life are what we all need, but sadly it's all too easy to get into bad habits and not so easy to break them without support (ask any smoker).

Many of us find it hard to fit in as much activity as we should, for all kinds of reasons.

It's also a sad fact that the amount of food which would have kept you slim in your 30s and early 40s is more than you necessarily need once you're menopausal or after! So yes, what you've suggested is the ideal and that's what those of us who've got overweight are trying to get back to... Meanwhile, well done you for keeping your eating uner control.
