Sorry Mollymandy but I have no idea about the variety, it was a gift, the flowers look the same shape and size as before, its just the colour that has changed. Its not a big plant so we have not really had to do much prunning so maybe thats the answer, old mother nature is letting us know she is still the boss.

Duckegg, I like the sound of your lilac tipped violas, but another mystery none the less.

Thanks for your replies girls, not much gardening done today, its so wet and windy.
