I think "Which" don't rate washer dryers as highly as separate items. My son has one due to limited space and it only dries half the washed load at a time. We have a vented dryer and as long as the hose can vent out I think it's easier than a condenser dryer. You need the space for 2 appliances though unless you can put the dryer in a utility room.

We also have a washer dryer due to limited space and I agree that the drier on it isn't very good. We dry clothes on a maiden, radiators on on the washing line.

I must admit I'd go for the fancy taps too
