Well, whaddya know! I'm knitting! YAY me

I couldn't meet up with Thimble as MIL was visiting but it turns out that she can knit and delighted in showing me how to cast on. She showed me and then sat patiently watching whilst I picked it up.

I'm delighted, isn't it great to pass on a skill
