I have a half knitted jumper for OH sitting at the bottom of my wardrobe - from about five years ago! I can see I'll ahve to get it out!

While doing some long overdue twiddling, I've found about 4 doz balls of wool, some cream, some charcoal+brown that I ad spun from my own fleeces many years ago when I kept Jacob sheep - I think I'm going to get my crochet hook out and make some blankets - lots of little squares sewn together. It's a long time since I crocheted (used to make berets back in the 1970s!) so I'll have to remind myslef of how to do it....

The posts about Kaffe Fassett wool made me smile - I bought myself a book of his knitting patterns many years ago, but they were so complicated that in the end I just used them to make a hot water bottle cover! Knitting is NOT one of my strongest points!
