Photos, pictures, things we have chosen or made and which reflect our personalities and experiences (eg travel). My house is lived in, lots of books and photos, twiddlers nightmare when it comes to dusting! We have friends who like the minimalist look - very tidy but their house feels like a house to me, not a home.
Everything I look at is something that makes me happy - apart from the litter tray!
