can only say much the same as the others - you will find lots of friends here and lots of good advice
re the uni - it is very hard to see them go but honestly after a while you will be used to the clean house etc - and once you get hooked here will soon be having whole new lease of life of that am sure
I know because it has happened to me ! Age is just a number I too am over 50 - only just 51 next week but feeling better about myself now than I ever had
so hold on - chin up and jump in !!
