Yes Ziggy I can totally relate to your story. My OH is 22 years older than me. We met when I was 21 and have now been together for 32 years. We have two grown up children and an adorable granddaughter and my OH also has two kids in their 40's. Unfortunately he was struck down with rhuematoid arthritis at 59 just when he retired and has since suffered really badly and tried loads of different medications. He has good days and bad days but really cant do much as even walking is painful. Its very difficult sometimes as I am bursting with energy and dying to try lots of new things. I really feel for him and love him to bits and cant imagine life without him but like you, do long for the old days when we had so much fun.
