What happened to the quick ride around the block that I did to pass my test in the late 70's,early 80's?????? The bike was so clapped out it kept stalling and the examiner laughed at my pathetic attempts with the sign recognition book!!!

How times have changed! I guess it's for the best for safety reasons.

With the petrol price rising the way it is we were only just thinking today of returning to 2 wheels ourselves!!
