He must be really struggling if he wants to give up his new venture. Sounds like all his emotions are caught up in the business at the moment.
Yes you need to feel special.
Try living life for yourself. Join the supper clubs, get out and do some new hobby. Weather the storm Mrs. Ding. Enjoy your own life.
