We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. This is an engrossing book about an incrdibly difficult subject. Although the topic of high school massacres is harrowing it is the way that we see the development of the child through the eys of the mother that draws us in. Finally, it is up to the reader to make up their minds as to what or who was truly responsible for this tragedy. Is it a case of nature or nurture? I leave it to you to decide, but you will never find a better book upon which to base your feelings on this unresolved dilemma.
