Hi billie, sorry, have just seen your post and realised I didn't answer..

I use librarything to get ideas of what I'd enjoy reading. It takes a bit of time initially, as you have to upload your own favourite books .. I think I've done about a hundred .. but it's quite easy.. then they link you to people who share the greatest number of books with you, and you can look at their libraries to see what else they read. Also, you label your own books with any "tag" you want .. "crime", "Victorian", "India" .. and you can link to other books on the same theme. Some people also write reviews but i haven't found the time to do that

Really recommend this site to anyone who likes new ideas on what to read.. it's free too!
