I am still here! You may have read my comment about The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein (one of my prizes). This was a fascinating book but it took me ages to read!

I am now back on the non-fiction and I have just posted a review for The Outcast by Sadie Jones. I had my eye on the hardback for a while - this novel was high profile because it was shortlisted for The Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction (but sadly it did not win). I bought the paperback the day it came out - it is in the Richard and Judy summer selection now.

This is an excellent novel which is beautifully written. It is not easy to find adjectives to do it justice. You must read it. In fact, everyone must read it!
