Re: EYES DOWN BOOK CLUB - REVIEWS OF JUST ANOTHER KID

Not an author I'd come across before but the subject sounded interesting. Having taught small children, and encountered many problems, I could identify with some of the situations, although I've never dealt with such severely disturbed children. I felt that Torey was so good and had an answer for everything and her interaction with Ladbrooke was so intense for such long spells that I can't believe Torey was so patient with her all the time!

It was interesting to find out what happened to the children at the end of the book and the fact that not all made much progress I suppose showed Torey wasn't completely perfect!

I know she has written other books about children but don't think I'd read any more as they would probably be in a similar vein, although I did find this book very readable.
Interesting choice!
