I joined the Ramblers five years ago and although I like the longer walks there are quite a lot of options. I live in Lincoln but also join the Horncastle, Boston, Gainsborough etc crowd and all make me very welcome. As a single woman I never feel on my own and everyone is so very friendly, couples talk as often as singles and as we have walking in common it is very sociable.

Go for it and at least have a go.
