Hi Lillie Yes, I have followed the Atkins Diet in the past. I lost 18lbs in 10 days - I felt really ill though, and of course put it all back on immediately. The best advice I have had is to eat like a cavegirl. Nothing processed, no wheat products or dairy - lots of fresh veg, berries and lean meat with a quality fish oil supplement. Lots of protein is the key - just like Atkins, but balance it with lots of veg. Serious sportsmen use this diet, and they are in great shape. You can have a square of dark choc and 1 glass of red wine per day to help with the cravings.... Good luck |
