I assume these two women were in post when you were appointed? Do you think they could be threatened by you because you are better at your job than they are? Do you know why your predecessor resigned?
I'm not sure who you work for, but I hope there is a route that you can take to address the problem. Can you start with speaking to your Line Manager - in confidence?? I know this must be awful for you - remember we are all here to support you. Love and hugs xx
