My little girl once left her teddy in the Ladies at our rail station when just a toddler, and didn't realise till we were on the train with 2 mins to go - I didn't have time to leap off and get it for her, as I would have had to drag her and brother behind me, but there were a gang of 'yoof' hanging around and making a row on the platform, so I leant out the door and attracted their attention so I could quickly explain what had happened. It wasn't obvious from their expressions and the fact that they didn't appear to have paid too much attention to me that they either heard me properly - or even cared that much, but when we returned to the station later that day I asked at the office just on the offchance whether they'd got the teddy, and the girl said yes they had, and they'd all in the office been quite cheered by the fact that a bunch of tattooed yoof had trotted in with it and asked them to hold on to it. Just another little example of having faith in not-so-obvious Knights! |
