KNIGHTS IN SHINING ARMOUR

Hi,
My faith in human nature was redeemed yesterday when I read a letter in our local paper.
An old lady was in her local flowershop, it was her 82 birthday and she was spending it alone, so she decided to treat herself to a bunch of flowers.
When she had left the shop, a young man of about 22 gave the florist £20 and asked him to send the old lady another bumch of flowers anonoymously from him. She had sent a letter to the paper thanking the young man whoever he was.
We are sometimes very quick to criticise the young, that good turn brought yet another tear to my eye.
