All you Scottish ladies no need to apologise it is not your fault. To answer you Blossom as to why they put screens up as you felt it would encourage them. They would have come anyway and it was thought this might help with the influx of people that we were powerless to prevent entering the city. I posted because this situation was way way beyond the normal football fever getting out of hand. My son works right in the centre of Manchester and tried to go out for lunch with a black colleague. They had to return to the office as they were met with streams of racist abuse, both to my son for being English and his colleague who they screamed n****r at and proudly boasting that they don't have as many n*****s playing for them as Manchester teams !!!!, and waving sectarian flags saying they had come to trash the city as it was English The next morning the streets smelled aweful full of vomit people saying they had seen excrement in places. We have today been advised by the council that they will not be allowing screens to watch one of our own teams next week when they play in the champions league final, which has just made people here livid to say the least.
